Here is a funny story. (Click the link above to read details). A woman tries to restore a painting and does a bad job of it. She is ridiculed by the whole world and the incident gains attention. But now, it has gained ATTENTION (did I mention attention?)!!! And public attention is a huge part of marketing. Why do you think Kim K and Paris H are famous, even though the world is filled with pretty girls? Coz, they got public attention, bro!

So now, the woman who messed up the painting as above has the opportunity to copyright her new painting (which is 100% original, the way it has turned out), and sell that for money. Don't you love money, and how marketing works?
